From the depression to the new deal you had two administrations and with basically the same task in mind but two different methods to accomplish this task.
Herbert Hoover and Franklin D. Roosevelt both believed the key to ending the depression was to get people back into the work force.
Through Hoover's first four years as president he focused on letting businesses handle their own affairs during the Depression. Hoover wanted minimal government involvement.
Passed the Hawley-Smooth Tarrif, created Reconstruction Finance Corporation and Federal Home Loan Bank System.
Roosevelt handled the Depression by enabling the government to be the sole operation and conductor of the reconstruction of America's economy.
Roosevelt during his first “Hundred Days” passed a slew of
legislation enabling the government to take control of businesses and corporations. The NRA, AAA, CCC, FDIC were created during this time.
There were consequences to how both administrations handled their dealing with the depression.
Hoover wanted a voluntary movement to end the depression. He was hoping that people would fight their way out of it. Hoover would not sign any legislation to give the public any federal aide. People saw his inaction to help the public a weakness
Roosevelt's numerous laws and federal programs possibly prolonged the depression.
Would either administration have been prepared for WWII than the other?

good start on outline. I like how you structured your outline. Also it would help to see a few dates on each event such as the Hawley Smooth tariff to show the reader how each event fits chronologically. Also show evidence to claims such as "Roosevelt's numerous laws and federal programs possibly prolonged the depression." it would help to understand how exactly it prolonged the depression, i think a short sentence would suffice. Other than that great start and the structure flows well.
This is a very good topic and excellent outline. The topic is narrow but is of a very historic and important period for U.S. politics. Some backround material on both Hoover and Rooseveldt could prove interesting to readers of the final term paper.

good outline. The topic is interesting. I like the way you try to compare and contrast Hoover's and Roosevelt's policies. And I think it is better focusing on one area at a time like yours.
